Small tips for storage
- To prevent potatoes from sprouting, keep one apple in the basket of potatoes.
- Keep the potatoes in a basket in a dark place and spread 5 or 6 cloves of garlic around them.
- Wrap potatoes in newspaper for storing.
- After getting the potatoes from the shop wash them clean with water, dry and store them. This can prevent spoilage of the potatoes. If you find any spoiled one among them, remove it immediately.
- Never store onions and garlic together as it spoils garlic fast.
