          1  - Saunf taken after a meal whether heavy or unhealthy, or normal aids in digestion, cures gastric pain, and acidity. It’s customary to take with little sugar candy or rock sugar after a feast.

        2    -  If you chew little fennel seeds just in the mouth, it will cure heart-burning.

       3    -  1 glass of milk, boil it with 3 teaspoons of fennel for 10 minutes, cool it , and drinking it will drive away the abdominal pain.

       4  -  1 teaspoon of ginger paste +2 teaspoons of fennel seeds + 2 teaspoons of honey will cure loose motion.

       5  -   Fennel seeds powder+ dry ginger powder + pink salt ( rock salt ) — 1 teaspoon of this taken with water before bed will help in curing constipation.

      6   —6 teaspoons powdered fennel seeds, put it in a cup of water, add real rose petals, boil and drink it once or twice a day to overcome anemia.

     7    — Fennel water ( water boiled with fennel ) is good for cold, fever, and dry cough.

      8  - It’s believed if you eat little fennel, it’ll induce hunger.
    
        Fennel is added to ease indigestible food, non-vegetarian items.

  •     To remove the strong odor of onions and garlic from your hands after cutting, rub them ( your hands with salt or a lemon peel.
  • To get rid of the eggy smell in cakes, add 1 tablespoon of honey to the cake batter while beating it. The cake will taste better too.
  • When grinding cardamom, add a small quantity of sugar along with it in mortar pestle. Not only is it easier, it also gives a uniform cardamom flavor.
  • To prevent lumps from forming while dissolving custard powder, dissolve a little sugar in water and add it to the custard powder.
  • Green vegetables will retain their color if you sprinkle some sugar on them while cooking. Taste will also be better.
  • Over-ripe tomatoes can be put to use by dipping in salty cold water. Leave them overnight and they will be firm and fresh, the next day.

  •  To get the most juice out of fresh lemons, bring them to room temperature if stored in the fridge roll them under your palm against the kitchen counter before squeezing.
  • While boiling potatoes add a little salt to prevent its breaking.
  • After frying cheese cubes, put them in hot water for some time. cheese will remain soft.
  • To preserve the softness of cheese cubes while storing in the fridge, spread a little sugar on them.
  • If tomatoes are over ripe, store them in a polythene bag in the freezer. Take out, peel and use them as and when needed.
  • Store coriander leaves with stems in a polythene bag tied or in an airtight box in the fridge.

  •    To prevent potatoes from sprouting, keep one apple in the basket of potatoes.
  •  Keep the potatoes in a basket in a dark place and spread 5 or 6 cloves of garlic around them.
  •  Wrap potatoes in newspaper for storing.
  • After getting the potatoes from the shop wash them clean with water, dry and store them. This can prevent spoilage of the potatoes. If you find any spoiled one among them, remove it immediately.
  • Never store onions and garlic together as it spoils garlic fast.

  •         Rubbing ice cubes on the face improves blood circulation and face becomes clean.
  •         In a cloth keep ice cubes and massage in round on the face, the face will become smooth.
  •         Applying ice cubes will absorb the creams we use for the skin.
  •         Black rings around the eyes will also vanish.
  •         Applying ice cubes on acne for a few seconds will prevent further growth.
  •         When pores increase on the face, dirt accumulates. Applying ice cubes will tighten the skin. Wrap a piece of ice in a soft cloth and massage gently on the face.
  •    Puffy face- Sometimes face looks as if swollen. Massaging with ice on those parts will be helpful.
  •    Sun burns-  Sun burn spoils the beauty of the face. Applying ice will be useful.
  •  Pimples-  Pimples cause burning sensation, sometimes itching too. Sometimes spots become very deep. Applying ice cubes on these regularly will give relief and remove them in a few days.
  • How to apply ice-  Wrap the ice cubes in a soft cloth and massage gently on entire face for 2 mnts. Following this routine 3 to 4 times a week will give freshness to the face, and relief from many of the skin related problems.
  •  In short, massage with ice cubes on the face is a nature-offered remedy with no side effect.

  •     To get the boiled egg in perfect shape without a crack, add a teaspoon of vinegar to the water in which you want to boil the egg.
  • Adding a tablespoon of water to the egg before beating will result in a much large and fluffy omelette.
  • While making pancakes, pour the batter from a jug instead of ladling, for an easy and even spread.
  • A teaspoon of glycerin added to cake batter can give a spongy and soft cake.
  • while frying paneer ( cheese cubes or tofu) add a little salt to the oil or butter for even browning and dip the cubes in hot water to make them soft or dip cheese cubes in little salt water before adding to any curry. This will make them soft.
  • To get a tastier custard, add a little honey along with sugar.

       Bug bite

  •   A smooth Rx for an itchy, irritated bug bite - Apply a little tooth paste on affected area and rub smoothly, and relax. you'll find improvement soon.
  • Or make a paste of 1/4 teaspoon of salt with 2 drops of water, rub over the bite for 30 seconds. Rinse well and pat dry.
  • mix 2 teaspoons of raw honey with water, rub on bug bites. Rinse after 10 mnts.
Soften rough heels
  • Cut an avocado in half, then scoop out flesh, leaving a little in the shell. Apply the flesh side of the shell onto heel and rub for 2 mnts. Repeat on the other heel, rinse.
    Toning complexion

Mix 1 tablespoon of mashed strawberries + 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. Massage onto damp face for 1mnt. Rinse after 5 mnts.


For acid reflex

  • 1 tsp of Honey with 1/2 cup of plain yogurt taken before bed everyday cures acid reflex.
