- To get the boiled egg in perfect shape without a crack, add a teaspoon of vinegar to the water in which you want to boil the egg.
- Adding a tablespoon of water to the egg before beating will result in a much large and fluffy omelette.
- While making pancakes, pour the batter from a jug instead of ladling, for an easy and even spread.
- A teaspoon of glycerin added to cake batter can give a spongy and soft cake.
- while frying paneer ( cheese cubes or tofu) add a little salt to the oil or butter for even browning and dip the cubes in hot water to make them soft or dip cheese cubes in little salt water before adding to any curry. This will make them soft.
- To get a tastier custard, add a little honey along with sugar.
